Set a master password for the owner to oversee the provisioning of the drive. The owner can enable locking & encryption, and factory reset the drive.
📄️ Activating locking
Activate the locking features on TCG Opal & related devices. Locking makes sure nobody but you can access the data on the device.
📄️ Editing locking ranges
Define the locking ranges that control which sections of the drives are encrypted and protected from unauthorized access.
📄️ Editing users
Set up the users who can access encrypted regions on the storage device. Users must authenticate with their passwords to gain access.
📄️ Editing permissions
Assign fine-grained permissions to the device's users so that they can unlock the locking ranges or unshadow the drive.
📄️ MBR shadowing
Enable support for pre-boot authentication (PBA) via MBR shadowing, and upload a PBA environment to unlock the drive before booting the operating system.
📄️ Reverting a device
Revert the device to its original factory state, erasing all configuration. The clean device can be resold or disposed of.
